Department of Medical Devices Techniques is charged with teaching basic methods, methods and tools related to designing medical devices, experiments, systems and services, with a focus on users and the context of use. The Bachelor's degree is based on students who participate in lectures, seminars, and workshops alongside projects. Medical device design brings together candidates from a range of fields including design, healthcare, engineering, and business, and prepares graduates to play a leading role in developing emerging medical devices. The program focuses on the interdisciplinary nature of medical device design, and covers topics ranging from basic medical science and vital devices to product design and human factors. At the core of the program is a focus on the needs of people in healthcare. Through a range of projects, students learn to conduct human-centered research, extract meaningful insights, create and visualize concepts, develop and evaluate prototypes, all within the context of a complex and highly structured world of medical device design. Covering the theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline, this course encourages students to design from a human-centered perspective while gaining a deep understanding of the science, technology, materials, and basic manufacturing processes that underlie medical device design and development. This department is concerned with studying the human body from anatomy and physiology from the engineering side specifically. Where after the doctor was performing the task of diagnosing the disease and determining the treatment, this section came to help him define his tasks, so the medical device became an assistant to the doctor in all steps from diagnosis to the end of treatment. The approval of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research obtained the creation of the Medical Device Technologies Engineering Department, and the study began in the academic year 2021-2020 Acceptance input: 1. The preparatory study in its two branches (applied and biological). 2. Professional study in its two sections: electronics and control, and medical devices. Department outputs: 1. Developing (or contributing to the development of) work plans and programs, especially the maintenance of medical equipment. 2. Set up and operate medical devices (supervision and implementation). 3. Maintenance and maintenance of medical equipment. 4. On-site (field) supervision of the implementation of the works. 5. Determine the specifications and standards for some medical devices, prepare instructions and prepare instructions related to them. 6. Preparing business statements (maintenance, repair, ... etc). 7. Participate in analyzing bids for medical devices and choosing the best alternative. 8. Training engineers and technicians to operate and maintain medical devices and choose the best alternative. 9. Preparing studies and research to improve and develop work and optimal use of medical devices. 10. Provides technical advice in the field of medical devices. 11. Proposing modifications, changes and modifications to designs of medical devices. 12. Participation in committees related to the activity of medical devices. 13. Implementation of other related works..
Qualifying distinguished and innovative competencies scientifically, skillfully and behaviorally in the field of medical equipment technology and keeping pace with the corresponding departments in the sober international universities by providing community services by providing the latest academic programs to create an advanced academic environment..
