Section Vision: The Department of Pathological Analysis is one of the departments of Al-Kunooze University College and specialized in modern medical sciences and modern sections, where the planning and implementation of the establishment of this section to be a model for the sections of the analysis of disease in the province of Basra and to achieve the objectives of this section and although the establishment process is a task of many obstacles and section Ready to receive students according to the admission plan for the first semester of this year 2017-2018. A graduate of the Department of Clinical Analysis receives a Bachelor's Degree in Pathological Analysis in order to perform a course as an analyst in the medical laboratories affiliated with public and private hospitals. The Pathological Analysis Department is a full partner in the development of health services in the governorate, especially in Iraq, through openness to society, providing the best services in the areas of development of activities related to various pathological analyzes, and meeting the changing needs of society. It is the responsibility of the Department of Pathological Analysis to keep abreast of the rapid progress in the field of basic clinical and clinical analyzes. Objectives of the Department of Pathological Analysis The Department of Pathological Analysis aims to achieve the following: 1. Examination of different blood cells, blood test and efficiency, counting of blood cells by hand, determination of hemoglobin level, preparation of blood smear, dyeing of blood cells, identification of certain blood diseases such as thalassemia, hemophilia, leukemia and others. 3. Detection of blood groups, blood image, identification of antibodies and antibodies. 4. Analysis of body fluids (blood, milk, semen, amniotic fluid, lacrimal fluid, bone fluid). 5. Measurement of enzymes such as GPT, GOT, LDH, Lipase and hormones such as thyroid hormones, adrenal gland, tumor markers and resulting diseases. 6.
