The Department of Business Administration seeks to be a distinguished center in the development of the characteristics and skills of management creativity of future business leaders through excellence in the field of scientific research and the provision of material and moral components that contribute to the preparation of graduates at a high level and in line with the needs of the labour market.
1. Prepare and qualify highly efficient and effective graduates to work in the field of business administration.
2. Achieve a cooperative and complementary relationship with all governmental and civil society organizations and institutions.
3. Provide specialized consulting in the field of business administration to serve the Iraqi community.
4. Alignment with prestigious Arab and international universities to take advantage of their experiences and employ them in the study program to make the Department of Business Administration keep pace with developments.
5. Return to the annual system instead of the quarterly system as it is more responsive in the face of conditions and developments in the Iraqi arena.
1. Provide the labour market with scientific and professional competence and in a form consistent with the requirements of overall quality in community education.
2. Develop research capabilities and capabilities to contribute to solving the problems faced by the country’s various constituencies and institutions as well as companies operating in the private sector.
3. Review the approved curriculum in a manner commensurate with the needs of the labour market, taking into account developments in similar curricula in international and Arab universities.
4. Improve success rates while maintaining the good scientific level of the scientific department's outputs.
5. Increase the experience of new teachers in teaching and scientific research by participating in teaching courses and holding scientific seminars and conferences at home and abroad.
6. Maintain communication between the department and its graduates through various means of communication which enhances the graduate's relationship with his/her college.
7. Create a database and information for graduates in the Department of Business Administration and hold joint seminars and meetings to identify problems and obstacles of work to take advantage of these observations in the development of the study program.
